JAMMU, Feb 18: A grand `Shobha Yatra’ was taken out by Shri Guru Ravi Dass S S Trust/ Society J&K, under the aegis of Shri Shri 108 Swami Gurdeep Giri Ji, in connection with the birthday of Shri Guru Ravi Dass Ji Maharaj in Bishnah today.
Shobha Yatra started from Bari Brahmana in the morning and after passing through various villages culminate at Sukhsagar Bhawan, Sikanderpur Kothey (Jammu district) via Bishnah.
Renowned Singer Priya Banga also participated and sang Bhajans on the teachings of Sant Shiromani Shri Guru Ravi Dass Ji Maharaj. A large number of devotees participated in the Shobha Yatra. Colourful Jhankies depicting life and mission of Shri Guru Ravi Dass ji Maharaj, were the part of Shobha Yatra.
Sangat and different Sabha’s had arranged stalls of eatables, water etc on the way of Shobha Yatra. Beautiful welcome gates were erected by different Sabhas and Sangat to welcome Shobha Yatra.
It was received by the management of Trust/Society/ Sabha’s at Sukhsagar Bhawan Sikanderpur with great enthusiasm.
It is pertinent to mention here that students of Savitri Bai Phule Modern School Dholian, Shri Guru Ravi Dass Convent School Jaswan, Dhati Todi Convent School Ratnal, Muni Kamal High School Gangyal and Dr B R Ambedkar Convent School Bamnal alongwith Principals and School staff participated in the Shobha Yatra. Refreshment was also provided to the students and Sangat at Bari Brahmana.
Shri Shri 108 Swami Gurdeep Giri Ji Maharaj delivered spiritual sermons on this occasion. The devotees took blessings of Shri Guru Ravi Dass ji Maharaj.
