KISHTWAR, Feb 19: Cybercrime Investigation Unit of District Police Kishtwar has successfully solved another case and recovered online cheated money to the tune of Rs. 35,000.
In a statement SSP Kishtwar, Abdul Qayoom informed that dedicated Cybercrime Investigation Unit pursued a case involving fraudulent activities and ultimately recovered the money defrauded online.
A handout stated that a complaint was lodged by Tariq Hussain Tak stating that he was cheated of his money through Jio SIM App.
Investigation revealed that the money was transferred to various merchants like Reliance retailer, One Mobikwik & Pay Flipkart.
The cybercrime investigation team led by PSI Amrinder Singh successfully recovered the cheated money.
