SAMBA, Feb 23: Commissioner Secretary, Tourism and Mission Director Holistic Agriculture Development Plan (HADP), Yasha Mudgal, today chaired a Public Darbar held at Panchayat Ghar Palli here.
During the event, locals highlighted their developmental concerns, urging expedited solutions.
Various delegations, comprising former PRIs, social workers, and community representatives, presented a memorandum encompassing a broad spectrum of developmental and infrastructural issues within their respective areas.
The public voiced demands for a playground in Palli Panchayat, repair of broken streets, maintenance of link roads, solar light repairs, regular water supply, drainage construction, cremation ground establishment, passenger shed, street lights, and a veterinary dispensary.
In response, Yasha Mudgal promptly directed concerned officials to adopt a time-bound approach to address public concerns.
She assured the public that genuine demands would be communicated to relevant departments, ensuring timely resolutions.
Yasha Mudgal said HADP is five year plan and it has taken off for proper handholding of the farmers who can also try their hands in other diverse crops with modern farming methods to get more economy to their earnings avenues.
Commissioner Secretary said more awareness generation on HADP shall be the target of promote good farming practices besides upscaling farmers skills through Daksh Kissan platform.
Furthermore, as part of the HADP scheme, the Commissioner Secretary, presented a Rotavator to a farmer as part of extending facility of subsidised farming implements. She also handed over a Hi Tech Poly House sanction letter to beneficiary Kishor Kumar Sharma.
Deputy Commissioner Samba, Abhishek Sharma, ADDC, Rajinder Singh, ACD, SDM Bari Brahmana, and other senior officers from the district administration were also present.
