Morchas form backbone of party: Rekha

JAMMU, Feb 23: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State general secretary, Dr. Devinder Manyal, discussed the organizational matters with Morchas of Jammu South in a meeting organized by district president Jammu South, Rekha Mahajan in the presence of State secretary, Ayodhya Gupta to discuss future course of agendas for forthcoming Lok Sabha polls here at party headquarters, today.
The meeting was attended by district general secretaries Akash Chopra and Pushpinder Charak including all presidents of Mahila Morcha, Yuva Morcha, SC Morcha, OBC Morcha, Kissan Morcha, ST Morcha besides all Prabharies of Morchas.
Devinder Manyal exhorted the BJP cadre to work hard for the next 100 days to win the confidence of voters for a third successive term. He added that the BJP needed to be re-elected to power as the next five years were crucial for the progress of the country. Manyal also discussed in length the organizational matters of Jammu South and boosted the morale of party workers. He said that it is only BJP that a person from an ordinary family becomes a PM and CM and changes the fate of the country and State. It was only the BJP that had a democratic set-up that allowed grassroots workers to rise to the top.
Rekha Mahajan, while speaking in the meeting, said that the BJP is a party of principles, working for the upliftment of all sections of society, irrespective of their religion, caste, and creed. She added that Karyakarta is the backbone and strength of the party and the BJP gives its workers full opportunity to move forward. She appealed to all Morcha presidents including Morcha Prabharis to work in coordination in a systematic approach.
Party secretary, Ayodhya Gupta, highlighted the Modi Sarkar welfare schemes, directly aimed at changing the fate of the people.
