JAMMU, Feb 23: Dr. Najam Bhat, a resident of Village Bafliaz (Mastandara) Tehsil Surankote Dist. Poonch has been awarded with University Gold Medal 2024 for securing First Position in Order of merit in Master of Arts in Gandhi and Peace Studies.
Bhat is highly qualified teacher having Master Degree in four subjects including Education, Urdu, Sociology and Gandhi and Peace Studies.
He did B.Ed, UGC-NET and Ph.D in Urdu from Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar and has been awarded with honorary Doctorate Degrees of Doctorate of Philosophy specialising in Education and Doctorate of Literature (D.Lit) specialising in Language in Literature by the British National University of Queen Mary and California Public University USA respectively.
Bhat is an Author of three Books, while his 6 research papers have been published in different UGC care listed journal.
He has also honoured with awards of Best Teacher, Best Lecturer, India Prime Quality Education Award and Best Educationist of the year award.
Bhat is working as Lecturer in higher education for the long time and taught in more than 15 different colleges of U.T of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
