MOSCOW, Feb 23: Dr Romesh Khajuria, Chairman, Wool & Woollens Export Promotion Council (WWEPC) Ministry of Textiles, Government of India led the delegation of Indian Textile Exporters to Russia from 19 to 21 February 2024.
Dr Vinod Gaikwad, First Secretary, Economic & Commerce Wing of Indian Embassy in Moscow inaugurated the Indian Pavilion in CPM – International Fashion Trade Show, Expo Centre, Krasnopresnenskaya Nab. Moscow, Dr Vinod along with Dr Romesh Khajuria and Rajnish Patidar, Deputy Head, Economic Wing of Embassy of India, Moscow interacted with the exporters in Moscow.
Dr Khajuria said that at present most of the European brands are not focusing on Russian Markets so it’s high time for Indian manufacturers to grab the Russian market. He appealed the Indian business community to focus on the Russia’s market while addressing the Indian delegation in presence of Indian Embassy’s high officials.
Dr Vinod Gaikwad, First Secretary, Economic and Commerce Wing, Indian Embassy extended full support to the Indian Manufacturers & exporters.
Further Dr Khajuria said that bilateral trade between India and Russia increased despite of Russia Ukraine war and also explained in detail that how the Russian Government made new arrangements for Rupees Roubles between two countries. The exhibitors participating in the event were happy with the response they are getting.
