KISHTWAR, Feb 24: SSP Kishtwar, Abdul Qayoom accompanied by DySP Hqrs Kishtwar, DySP DAR, SDPO Marwah and other officers here today paid rich tribute to the brave martyr, DySP Aman Thakur on his 5th anniversary of martyrdom.
During the tribute paying ceremony, SSP Kishtwar delivered heartfelt remarks, reflecting on the exemplary service and courageous actions of Shaheed DySP Aman Thakur.
He lauded the late officer as a dedicated and devoted member of Police force who valiantly served on the anti-terror front.
“DySP Aman Thakur’s unwavering commitment to duty and selfless sacrifice earned him the prestigious Shaurya Chakra, a testament to his extraordinary bravery and service to the nation,” SSP Kishtwar maintained.
The officers and the general public of Kishtwar also participated in a candlelight march as a tribute to the martyr.
