JAMMU, Feb 26: Expressing concern over constant ignorance of public issues, Apni Party Provincial president, Jammu and former Minister, Manjit Singh flayed authorities for poor infrastructure in hospitals and educational institutions of J&K.
He was addressing a meeting here in Shastri Nagar organized by Apni Party Women Wing vice president and in-charge Bahu Constituency, Neelam Gupta.
Singh said that the bureaucratic administration has failed to take initiative to provide better infrastructure in institutions that deal with public.
“Condition of health and educational institutions has not improved and there is shortage of staff, equipments, and specialized doctors,” he maintained adding: “Condition of roads and basic amenities within municipal limits of Jammu has also not improved even as the Smart City Project has been implemented.”
The Apni Party leader claimed that city roads mostly witness traffic jams with no parking places and the businessmen suffer unplanned development by Jammu Municipal Corporation.
He assured that if Apni Party comes to power, it will work as per the expectation of the people and Jammu will get its due share in infrastructural developments.
