Dharmarth Trust makes arrangements across temples for Maha Shivratri

JAMMU, Feb 27: J&K Dharmarth Trust, the organization dedicated to the preservation and management of temples and shrines, has made all necessary arrangements across the temples and shrines falling under its purview for the impending Maha Shivratri festival, which will be celebrated on March 8, 2024.
“Under the able guidance of Chairman Trustee, Dr Karan Singh and other Trustees, the Trust has made commendable efforts in ensuring a seamless experience for devotees visiting the temples and shrines falling under its purview,” said Brig (Retd) R S Langeh, President of the Trust, flanked by SSP (Retd) Ashok Kumar Sharma, Secretary, while addressing a press conference, here today.
He said several ancient and prominent temples like Umapati Mahadev Temple in Purmandal, Ranbirsingheshwar, Abbhimukteshwar Temples in Utterbehni, Shankaracharya Temple Srinagar, Raghunath ji Temple, Jammu, Ranbireshwar Temple, Sudh Mahadev, Mantalai, Shiv Temple Nagrota, and Shiv Temple Satwari have all been prepared meticulously to accommodate the influx of devotees during this auspicious occasion.
The Trust’s President expressed his commitment in ensuring hassle-free facilities for devotees not only on Maha Shivratri but also on regular days.

Briefing media persons, Ashok Kumar Sharma informed that the Civil Administration and J&K Police Department have made elaborate arrangements for facilitating the celebrations and ensuring the security respectively. He also thanked active public participation in organizing the function on Maha Shivratri. He also commended the efforts of the Shri Ranbireshwar Mandir Welfare Committee, whose contribution has been instrumental in making the celebrations a grand success.
The Trust’s President and Secretary invited devotees from across the Union Territory to join the vibrant and spiritually uplifting celebrations of Maha Shivratri in the Dharmarth Trust Temples and Shrines. In addition to the meticulously prepared temples, there will also be various cultural and spiritual programs including Langars organized throughout the day, providing a truly enriching experience for all who participate, they added.
