JAMMU, Feb 27: To foster the knowledge and understanding of Section 43B (h), a seminar was organised here today by Direct Taxes Committee, ICAI at ICAI Bhawan, Canal Road.
The event was graced by the presence of chief guest, Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal, CA, president ICAI and guest of honour, vice president ICAI, CA Charanjot Singh Nanda along with Sanjay Kumar Agarwal, CA and (Dr.) Raj Chawla, CA, Central Council members of Northern Region.
The seminar commenced with inaugural address by CA Vineet Kohli, chairman, J&K Branch.
CA Priya Seht, secretary, J&K Branch initiated proceedings and guided the participants through key aspects of the subject reiterating the fact that CAs are true partners in nation building with their integrity and acumen.
Highlight of the event was an informative session by CA (Dr.) Girish Ahuja, who shared his expertise on Section 43B(h) and its implications.
The seminar not only served as a platform for in-depth exploration of Section 43B(h) but also facilitated networking and collaboration among professionals in the field.
CA Sourav Pargal, vice chairman; CA Vikas Purdhani, immediate past chairman and treasurer, CA Nakul Saraf; former chairman and CA Ayush Sawhney, executive member of J&K Branch along with senior members and number of CAs were also present in the event.
