UDHAMPUR, Feb 27: An electronics shop was completely gutted in a fire incident at Ward number 4, Chenani, here late last night.
Even as there was no loss of life, the shop was completely gutted in the fire that broke out during the intervening night of 26-27 February last night. The shop was owned by Charanjeet, son of Om Parkash of Chenani.
On being informed by the locals, Police from Police Station Chenani and Incharge Fire Station Chenani along with his team reached the spot and controlled blazes within one and half hour.
The exact cause of fire could not be ascertained while property worth over Rs 5-6 lakh was lost in the incident. The police have taken cognizance of the matter.
