Ex- MLC seeks early completion of hospital buildings

JAMMU, Feb 28: Ravinder Sharma, former MLC, Senior Vice President & media incharge of JKPCC called on Director Health Services Jammu Dr Rakesh Magotra & took up the issues of delay in completion of under construction buildings in Sunderbani & Nowshera. besides providing more doctors at Treyath.
Sharma apprised the Director about the inordinate delay in completion of the under construction hospital buildings in Sunderbani and Nowshera started ten years ago during UPA regime. Both the buildings were meant to upgrade the infrastructure and facilities in two hospitals but have remained incomplete after ten years of start of work, he added.
The congress leader demanded expediting the work and early completion of the buildings as well as other installations and providing necessary facilities for early start besides seeking proper parking facilities in the hospitals.
Sharma also apprised the Director about shortage of doctors in PHC Treyath under Kalakote as a result people have to travel to Sunderbani or Kalakote hospitals which are over 40 kms each. He sought quick response to these demands. Director assured to do the best shortly.
