JAMMU, Feb 17: As part of the Dogra Day celebrations, the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Front (JKDF) today held a blood donation camp at Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
The blood donation camp was organized to pay tributes to the great Duggar heroes and sons of soil who made the supreme sacrifices for defending the integrity of mother land.
A large number of people including JKDF Sewa Dal activists and women participated in the blood donation camp. More than three hundred units of blood were collected on the occasion.
JKDF State president Anil Gupta inaugurated the camp in presence of senior JKDF leaders and party workers. The camp was organized under the supervision of expert medical faculty and activists of JKDF Sewa Dal led by Rohit Sharma (Happy).
JKDF is celebrating its Foundation Day as” Dogra Day” on February 19.  A massive public rally and mega cultural programme will be organized at Parade Ground, Jammu on February 19.
Speaking on the occasion, Rohit Sharma said that the participation in such camps can enhance the virtues of humility and generosity among the youth.
He also exhorted the people to participate in JKDF initiative “Write for Jammu, Fight for Jammu” campaign on February 19 to pen down the thoughts for building a new Jammu with a new vision.
The prominent JKDF Sewa Dal activists present on the occasion, were   S Hardev Singh, Ravi Mehra, Shalleen Gulati, Rakka, Deepak Sharma, Rajesh Sharma and others.
