Adequate facilities on Shivratri demanded

JAMMU, Mar 2: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Migrant Wing today urged upon the J&K Lieutenant Governor to ensure adequate facilities for Kashmiri Pandits during Mahashivratri festival which falls on March 8, 2024.
To review the arrangements ahead of the festival, a meeting of PDP’s Migrant Wing was held which was chaired by Migrant Wing president, Sunil Bhat.
Leaders present in the meeting said that rate of essential commodities should be put under control in migrant camps and non-camps during the festival.
They urged for cash assistance be given to migrants along with adequate supply of essential commodities and uninterrupted supply of water and electricity in their localities.
Sunil Bhat asked all migrant leaders to work on ground and reach every nook and corner of migrant camps and non-camps to mobilize migrant voters to vote for PDP in upcoming Parliament elections.
Bharat Bhushan, Bansi Lal Koul, Veer Raina, Vijay Pandit, Anu, Ramesh Koul, Bimal Wantoo, P.N Zutshi, P.N Pandita, Suraj Tak, Amit Dhar, Sunil Jalla, Kamal Dhar and M.K Dhar were also present in the meeting.
