CII organises Annual Session

JAMMU, Mar 2: The CII J&K convened its annual session today with theme ‘Resurgent J&K’.
The chief guest on this occasion was Vikram Jeet Singh, Commissioner/Secretary, Industries & Commerce and Khalid Jahangir, Managing Director, JKTPO while the event attracted top-tier CEOs, government officials, industry leaders, stakeholders and startup owners.
Speaking on the occasion the chief guest said that it was heartening to witness vibrant discussions and exchange of ideas at the session.
“Resurgent J&K resonates our shared vision for the region’s economic revitalization. Together, let us harness the collective potential and drive sustainable growth in J&K ensuring a brighter future for all,” he maintained.
Jahangir articulated actionable steps to attract investment, promote entrepreneurship and empower local communities, envisioning a ‘Resurgent J&K’ that thrives on innovation and opportunity.
The highlight of the session was panel discussion on ‘Resurgent J&K: Building Resilient Economy in a Changing World.’
Eminent speakers and industry experts including Kaushlendra Tirpathi, Partner-Infrastructure, Grant Thornton Bharat LLP; Tarun Gupta, Founder & CEO, SiCureMi Healthcare Technologies Pvt. Ltd; Kuwarani Ritu Singh, Director- Hari Niwas Hotel and Resorts & Pro Vice Chairman DPS Jammu; Archit Puri, Director, PBI India Pvt. Ltd and Chairman of CII J&K UT Council; Syed Junaid Altaf, Group Executive Director, FIL Industries Pvt. Ltd and Vice Chairman of the CII J&K UT Council also spoke on the occasion.
The session was attended by more than 100 participants.
Meanwhile, during the session Syed Junaid Altaf Bukhari was elected as Chairman and Dr. M.A Alim as Vice Chairman of CII J&K Council for the year 2023- 24.
Junaid Altaf is Group Executive Director of FIL Industries and Managing Director of Empyrean Skyview Projects Private Limited.
Dr. M.A Alim is CEO of packaging design industries and holds a doctorate in Economics with Distinction in Financial Microeconomics and having a vast experience in the field of Government Service and Public life.
