NEW DELHI, Feb 18: Crude palm oil prices up by 1.02 per cent to Rs 572.90 per 10 kg in futures trading after participants created speculative positions following rising demand in the spot markets.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in April rose by Rs 5.80, or 1.02 per cent, to Rs 572.90 per 10 kg in business turnover of 87 lots.
Likewise, the oil for delivery in March up by Rs 5.50, or 0.97 per cent, to Rs 571.40 per 10 kg in 402 lots.
Analysts said speculative positions built-up by participants following pick-up in spot demand mainly led to rise in crude palm oil prices at futures trade. (AGENCIES)
