BSP pays tribute to former party president

KATHUA, Mar 3: Bahujan Samaj Party organized a program in district Kathua on Saturday to pay tribute to the party’s former state president Late Somraj Majotra on his birth anniversary.
During this tribute ceremony organized under the chairmanship of State general secretary Sunil Majotra, former MP Raja Ram, Coordinator of Jammu and Kashmir of Bahujan Samaj Party, was chief guest. Apart from this, State president of the party Darshan Rana was present as a guest of honour.
The party leaders and workers paid their tribute to former president Som Raj Majotra by offering flowers and garlands to his portrait. On this occasion, hundreds of people including senior BSP leader and convener Gurbaksh Gaurav, general secretary Shashi Bhushan Thapa, District Development Council member Nagari, Sandeep Majotra, state treasurer Raja Singh, district head Raman Kumar, Tara Chand, Chaman Lal and Dr. Shyam Lal were present on the occasion.
Party Coordinator and former MP Raja Ram said that former BSP president Somraj Majotra did a lot of work to strengthen the party in Jammu and Kashmir and even today the party workers are strengthening the party by following the path shown by him. He said that during his tenure as the state president, Party won various elections for many years and he always worked as an honest and true soldier of the party. He said that even today we need to work following the path shown by him.
He claimed that BSP was ready for all the elections and in view of the elections, a public relations campaign is also being run by the party for the last several months, under which more and more people are being linked with BSP. He said that the names of the candidates will also be announced soon by the party high command.
Darshan Rana said that BSP in Jammu and Kashmir became stronger in every field under his leadership. Majotra gave his full contribution in connecting people with the party. BSP has always talked about the welfare of the common people and will always do so. He appealed to the party workers to contribute to strengthen the party at the grassroots level. Raja Singh and Chaman Lal also expressed their views and paid tribute to the former president.
