Sopore, Mar 3: A minor boy died and another was rescued after the duo fell into a rivulet in Sopore area of Baramulla district this afternoon.
The duo hailing from Mundaji Sopore, were on their way to a Masjid to attend a congregation, slipped into a rivulet, flowing through the area.
A rescue operation was launched and the duo was immediately rescued from the rivulet.
One Saqib-al-Khair, retrieved under unconscious condition, was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead.
