CCBOA for restructuring of all urban cooperative banks

JAMMU, Mar 4: The Citizens Co-operative Bank Officer’s Association (CCBOA) has urged the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir to for restructuring of urban cooperative banks in the Union Territory.
The request was made by the Association during its meeting held here today. During the meeting, the Association members while welcoming the National Urban Cooperative Finance and Development Corporation Limited (NUCFDCL) launched by Union Minister for Cooperatives Amit Shah, stated that it will be a land mark decision for the development and survival of the urban cooperative banks.
The Association members urged the J&K Government working under Lt Governor Manoj Sinha to take necessary steps for the restructuring and development of all urban cooperative banks in J&K which has seen many ups and downs in recent years of militancy and political instability. The association has already been representing before the administration in this connection, they added.
The meeting was presided by Sonal Mehta with the members Rash Pal Singh, Shakti Dutt Sharma, Sangeet Mishra, Vivek Gupta, Navdeepak Baloria and Mohinder Gupta.
