Zeeshan leads delegation to DC Poonch, highlights public issues

POONCH, Mar 4: Additional spokesperson of Jammu & Kashmir National Conference, Zeeshan Rana led a delegation today to meet the Deputy Commissioner Poonch for projecting local issues.
The delegation highlighted the pressing issues confronting the residents of various areas in the absence of a popularly elected government for over five years. During the meeting, Zeeshan Rana emphasized the manifold increase in public grievances, in view of the prolonged absence of a popular government in Jammu & Kashmir.
Discussions were held in detail on the poor power scenario, deplorable condition of roads, non-availability of ration and lack of basic amenities affecting several areas including Sangarra, Balnoi, Manjakote, Balakote, Mendhar and others. The delegation also stressed the crucial need for regular water and power supply, particularly in anticipation of the upcoming holy month of Ramzan.
Rana highlighted the National Conference’s unwavering commitment to preserving communal harmony and peace in the Pir Panjal region. He warned against any attempts by certain elements to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere and reassured that the National Conference would stand firm against such efforts.
Asserting the party’s disciplined approach, Zeeshan reiterated the National Conference’s readiness to collaborate with the administration to ensure peace and harmony throughout Jammu & Kashmir. He also urged the Deputy Commissioner to enforce accountability among district officers to alleviate the suffering of the people.
The Deputy Commissioner attentively listened to the delegation’s concerns and assured them of his commitment to addressing the aforementioned issues.
