JAMMU, Mar 5: In the wake of Prime Minister’s visit, J&K Board of School Education has ordered postponement of Class 10th examination, which was scheduled to be held on March 7.
A notification in this regard was issued today by the JKBOSE, according to which the postponed exam shall be held on April 4, 2024.
“In view of unavoidable circumstances, the examination of Vocational subjects i. e. (Agriculture/Apparels, Makeup & Home Furnishing/ Automotive/ Beauty and Wellness/ Health Care/IT & ITES/Physical Education and Sports/Plumbing/Retail/Security/Telecommunication/Tourism and Hospitality/Electronics and Hardware) of Secondary School Examination (Class 10th) Session Annual (Regular-2024) of Soft Zone areas of UT of Jammu and Kashmir, which was scheduled to be held on 07-03-2024, has been postponed and shall be held on 04-04-2024,” reads the notification.
The examination of rest of the subjects scheduled with effect from March 11, 2024 shall be held accordingly as per date sheet already by the JKBOSE.
