KATHUA, Feb 18: Safai Karamchari Union of Municipal Council, Kathua protested for fulfilling their long pending demands which are due since five years, today.
The protest demonstration was held under the presidentship of Sivan Chita who said that they are being cheated, adding said, last year they were assured by Dy Chief Minister and the concerned Minister to get permanent them, but their fate is still hanging in air.
The Union leader said that they will further intensify the struggle if their demands are not met.
On being asked, Vinod Sharma, EO, Municipal Council accepted that city lane and drains are choked and administration can assess the situation by visiting the area.
