Samba police arrests 3 drug peddlers with Chitta

SAMBA, Mar 5: Samba police has arrested three drug dealers all residents of Kishtwar (J&K) near Balole Khad Bari Brahmana. According to police the arrests have been made under FIR 27/2024 u/s 8/21/22/25/29 of NDPS Act of PS Bari Brahmana.
Police said it had received information regarding three people indulging in sale/purchase of Chitta near Balol Khad , Bari Brahamana. On this information vigilant police team set up a strong Naka and tactfully apprehended all three drug dealers. During search 14 gm Chitta was recovered from their possession.
Arrested drug dealers have been identified as Umar Hussain, son of Gulshen Ahmed, Bilal Ahmed son of Mushtaq Ahmed and Irfan Ahmed son of Gulshen Ahmed. All residents of Kishtwar.
Police said the arrest was executed by a team led by SHO Police Station, Bari Brahman Inspector, Sumeet Sharma, assisted by PSI Vineet and PSI Ibrar under the supervision of SDPO Bari Brahmana, Mukund Tibrewal,. The arrest comes in backdrop of recent property seizure of drug dealers of in Samba. It shows relentless resolve of Samba police to eradicate the menace of drug from district Samba.
SSP Samba has requested the people to come out and help Police to control the problem of narcotics which is severely affecting youth of this country.
