JAMMU, Mar 5: A deputation of JDA Housing Colony Welfare Association of Roop Nagar under the leadership of Uttam Deep Sharma, Association chairman met Commissioner Secretary, Mandeep Kour.
The deputation highlighted the problems related to bad road and dilapidated lanes and drains.
Members of the deputation also demanded that parks from sector-1 to sector-9, Community Hall/JDA Club and shopping complex constructed by the JDA remains unutilised and these should be put to use.
They also submitted a memorandum containing these demands and problems to the Commissioner Secretary who after giving a patient hearing to the deputation assured to take up the issues with concerned authorities for necessary action on priority basis.
The deputation comprised of Dr. Sudershan Kumar, Vinod Vaid, N.L Bhat, M.L Gupta, Ashok Gupta, Vinod Kapoor and others.
