Baru asks workers to gear up for election campaign

JAMMU, Mar 5: BJP senior leader and district Prabhari Nowshera, Sanjay Kumar Baru asked the party workers to gear up for Lok Sabha election campaign, while addressing a meeting of party workers from Kalakot-Sunderbani Assembly constituency.
Baru said that in order to increase the activities for the Lok Sabha elections in the various Assembly constituencies by the activists, the party has initiated the “Vidhan Sabha Pravas Abhiyan”.
“Senior leaders of J&K BJP will undertake the Pravas in all the Assembly constituencies under the direction of J&K BJP president, Ravinder Raina and general secretary (Organization), Ashok Koul from 5th March to 15th March 2024. These leaders will supervise and give pace to the political activities in the respective Assembly constituency in view of the approaching Parliamentary elections”, said Sanjay Baru.
Baru asked the senior party leaders to hold back-to-back meetings of party office bearers, Morchas and Mandals. He asked the party leaders present in the meeting to pace up the contact with the general masses and take the public welfare schemes initiated by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi led Union Government and discuss the unprecedented development that has been witnessed in Jammu & Kashmir since Prime Minister assumed his office in 2014 and particularly after the abrogation of draconian Articles 370 and 35 (a).
District general secretary, Pritam Sharma, ensured the senior party leader that the party activists are enthusiastic to work day and night till the last day of voting.
