JAMMU, Mar 6: The working president of JKPCC, Raman Bhalla and senior vice president Mulla Ram today visited several areas of Marh Constituency to review preparedness in wake of forthcoming Parliament elections.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhalla said that his party will ensure justice and inclusive development in Jammu and Kashmir. He said UPA-I and UPA-11 had prepared a roadmap and ensured enormous development and employment in J&K, but the BJP policies are contrary to that. Because of it, the developmental process started in J&K received severe setbacks,” he said.
Bhalla reiterated that Congress party will not compromise on people’s urges and aspirations and will do its utmost to restore confidence and trust among the common citizens in J&K. He stated that Congress is a vibrant force strong enough to defeat malicious propaganda and misleading politics of BJP. The party is committed to ensure that people live with dignity and their issues resolved on priority basis. Downgrading erstwhile J&K State into two UTs was an assault on people’s emotions, Bhalla added.
Congress leader said that people are fed-up with misrule of proxy Government of BJP in Jammu and Kashmir and it is only the Congress party which can provide justice to the people.  He said that people are not only fed with the anti-people policies of BJP at the Centre but are also exhausted by BJP’s proxy Government in J&K, which is directionless and doing experimentation day in day out on people as if they are ‘herd of animals’. He stated that the people of Jammu and Kashmir will show the door to BJP as it has crossed all the limits of exploiting the common man over the pointless issues of communal, regional, lingual and other kind of divisive agenda.
Senior vice president Mula Ram said the BJP had formed Government on the basis of catch phrases. “They assured people of ‘Achhe Din’ and to bring back black money from Swiss banks, but failed. They talk about Hindutva. We were taught to respect all religions,” he said and added that Congress follows principles in politics, while BJP leaders try to destroy peace and brotherhood across the country.
NSUI president Ajay Lakhotra, senior leaders  Rajinder Kumar, Rampal, Balkar Bajju, Sagarmal, Dr Bansi,  Sham Singh and others also spoke on the occasion.
