JAMMU, Mar 6: Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir (SLNM) Management Trust, Gandhi Nagar (Jammu) will celebrate Mahashivratri, a significant Hindu festival to worship Lord Shiva, with fervor and reverence at Temple complex on March 8.
This was disclosed by former Minister and president of Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Management Trust, Gandhi Nagar (Jammu), Gulchain Singh Charak, while addressing the press conference. He said the Temple complex, steeped in tradition and history, will host devotees and visitors alike to partake in the auspicious festivities.
As per traditions, the celebrations will include special prayers, bhajans and rituals dedicated to Lord Shiva, offering devotees an opportunity for spiritual reflection and devotion. The ambiance of the complex, adorned with vibrant decorations and illuminated with divine fervor is bound to enhance the spiritual experience for all devotees.
We are delighted to continue the tradition of celebrations of Mahashivratri as per the past practice at Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Complex, stated Gulchain Singh. The sacred day is celebrated not only to offer prayers to Lord Shiva but it also fosters a sense of community and devotion amongst the devotees.
Charak on behalf of the Management of the Temple extended a warm invitation to all devotees and members of the community to join the Mahashivratri celebrations. He urged public at large to seek blessings of Lord Shiva for peace, prosperity and harmony.
Besides making requisite arrangements for the large number of devotees expected on the auspicious day of Mahashivratri , the special programmes being organized in the Mandir complex will be four ‘poojas’ from 8.30 PM to 4 AM in the night.
