JAMMU, Mar 7: GD Goenka Healthcare Academy here today opened its franchise branch of ACE Health Care Academy at Industrial Estate Digiana.
The branch was inaugurated by Mohit Mehra, CEO GD Goenka Healthcare who while speaking on the occasion said: “There is a huge demand and supply gap for trained paramedics in India’s healthcare industry. According to ASSOCHAM, India’s healthcare industry is expected to grow to hit $50 billion in size by 2025. GD Goenka Healthcare Academy which has over 70 centres across India is trying to do its bit to bridge this gap.”
GD Goenka Academy’s courses will be accessible to masses through interest free loans.
Ganesh Chander Gope, GD Goenka Health Care Academy, Jammu said: “We will be offering 12 certificate, 7 diploma, 8 degree and 4 Post Graduate courses in different paramedical fields. Courses like Emergency Medical Technician-Basic, ECG Assistant, Blood Bank Technician, Physiotherapy Assistant, Pharmacy Assistant, Dental Assistant, Dialysis Technician, X-ray Technician and Radiology Technician among others will be provided. Even paramedical courses that Indian Medical Association recognizes will also be offered by the Academy.”
It was informed that criteria for certificate courses will be minimum class X pass while for diplomas and degrees, minimum qualifying criteria will be class XII and for Masters it will be Graduation.
Ganesh Chander informed that clinical internships will also be offered to students in hospitals with sufficient exposure to practical learning.
He also said that 100 per cent placement assistance will be given to the students and students from weaker sections can avail of 100 per cent educational loan without interest.
