JKTA highlight demands

JAMMU, Mar 8: The Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Association held a meet at Jammu for highlighting various issues and demands.
Addressing the meeting, Bhupinder Singh, UT President of JKTA , reiterated the demand for formulation of a comprehensive transfer policy for Rehbar-e-Taleem (ReT) Teachers, UT Pay grade for teachers at par with the other UTs, timely Annual Transfer Drive for teachers at all levels at the end of the session, expediting the completion of pending DPC cases for Masters and Lecturers and timely approval of the pending mutual transfer cases.
During the meeting, prominent leaders Ishaq Rashid Malik, Shafket Koka, Joginder Singh from Asser joined the JKTA.
The meeting was attended by Sadaket Malik, Poonam Thakur, Joginder Dingra, Javed Chuhan, Hamait Wani, Sunil Salaria, Poonam Thakur , Tirath Singh Bhalwal, Reyaz Ahmed, Prabhat Singh and Gopal Singh.
