KARGIL, Feb 19: On the issue of new administrative units approval demanding CD Block for Chanigund large number of peoples of border areas residing near LoC Chanigund and adjoining areas held protest for almost four hours, today.
The protest was held under the banner of Chuliskambo Action Committee headed by Ghulam Jaffer Kaksar. During the protest people where shouting the slogans like, need of CD Block for the people of the Border villages.
The protesters were holding banner and pla-cards in their hands. The protester from all villages like, Kaksar, Latoo, Karkitchoo, Budgam, Majadas, Haral, Chanigund and Hardass accumulated at Lal Chowk, Chanigund.
They, strongly opposing the recently announced administrative units, warned the political parties of Kargil for taking up their issues with the authorities else they will find difficulties during the upcoming elections.
