JAMMU, Mar 10: Police in RS Pura area here today claimed they have arrested an absconder who was evading his arrest for the past four years.
They said Rajesh Kumar alias Mintu of Chakrohi, Tehsil RS Pura, was wanted in case FIR number 121/2020 under sections 451/323/382/147 of the IPC and 4/25 of the Arms Act registered at Police Station RS Pura.
Acting on specific information about the accused today, a team of Police Station RS Pura led by Inspector Naveen Angral under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura succeeded in arresting the former, police said, adding that he will be produced before the JMIC RS Pura for lodging him in the judicial custody.
