Delay in Assembly elections causing hardship to people: Gupta

JAMMU, Mar 10: BSP J&K general secretary and media head, Rajesh Gupta today accused the Centre for snatching democratic rights of the people of J&K and demanded immediate Assembly elections and Statehood restoration to J&K.
Talking to a news channel here today Gupta expressed concern over the difficulties being faced by the people in the absence of popular Government.
He accused the Centre of failing the people on all counts.
“J&K has been divided into two Union Territories against the wishes of the people and they are now being denied of their democratic rights by the BJP only to hide its wrong policies and utter failure,” he maintained adding that BSP shall continue to fight for the democratic rights of people and to ensure justice.
The BSP leader informed that people especially youth are joining BSP due to its pro-people policies.
He urged his Party leaders to keep their doors open for those wishing to join BSP and encourage them to work for the well-being of the people.
Gupta stressed Party leaders to work hard to strengthen BSP at grassroots level.
