SUCHETGARH, Mar 12: Senior Congress leader, Taranjit Singh Tony, also DDC Member Suchetgarh here today stated road blacktopping work at Hara Peer Sai.
A budget of Rs 3.56 crore has been allocated for the work, completion of which will give a road to serve as vital link connecting over 50 villages up to Arnia and R.S Pura.
Speaking on the occasion Tony highlighted that the ongoing construction of bridge near Hara Peer with an estimated expenditure of Rs. 11 crore was aimed at enhancing connectivity to village Sai from R.S Pura and expected completion of the bridge is by the end of June.
He strongly condemned BJP for using electoral bonds to manipulate public opinion.
The Congress leader claimed that implementation of CAA by the BJP government is nothing but a desperate attempt to divert public attention from the critical issue of electoral bonds.
“CAA does not address the pressing issues faced by the citizens of our country but is merely a smokescreen created by BJP to deflect attention from its dubious actions,” he maintained.
Sham Lal Bhagat, Roshan Lal Bhagat, Naib Sarpanch Heera, Sunny Sarpanch, Baldev Singh, Sonu Choudhary, Jindi Panch and Yashpal Bhagat were also present on the occasion.
