JAMMU, Mar 12: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Central University of Jammu unit, today held a strong protest against SFI for allegedly torturing Siddharth, a veterinary student at Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University in Wayanad, Kerala, who was later found hanging at the university hostel bathroom on February 18.
ABVP State Secretary Akshi Billowria led the protest and alleged that Siddharth was subjected to a mob trail, where he was stripped naked and beaten with iron rods, belt and wires. She further alleged that the Kerala Government was trying to protect SFI goons who mercilessly assaulted and tortured J S Siddharth while the left liberals are keeping mum in the tragic death of the student.
ABVP CUJ unit President Manoj said that case was handed over to the CBI and the SFI leaders behind the death of the student were arrested only after ABVP protests in Kerala.
ABVP CUJ unit Secretary Abhishek Choudhary condemned the violence perpetrated by the SFI led goons. He said that SFI goons not only murdered Sidharth but also shattered the dreams of his innocent parents and such acts of aggression have no place in our society.
