Omar asks party leaders to prepare for LS polls

SRINAGAR, Mar 13: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference vice president and former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah while chairing a meeting of the Central Kashmir Parliamentary constituency functionaries asked them to get ready for upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
During meeting, the segment leaders were urged to prepare diligently for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections. Then party functionaries discussed an array of issues and offered their valuable insights and suggestions to further strengthen the party’s position on ground.
Omar asked the party leaders/ functionaries to reach up to the masses and project their issues.
He said the party leaders must expose anti-youth and anti-farmer policies of the saffron party.
Party general secretary Ali Mohammed Sagar, Treasurer Shammi Oberoi, Provincial president Nasir Aslam Wani Sogami, party leaders Abdul Rahim Rather, Mian Altaf Ahmad, Hasnain Masoodi, Mubarak Gul, Shameema Firdous, Irfan Shah, Tanvir Sadiq, Mushtaq Guroo, Mudassar Shahmiri, Ali Mohd Dar, Sheikh Muhammad Rafi, Peer Afaq Ahmad, Ghulam Mohiudin Mir, Mohd Khalil Bandh, Salman Ali Sagar, Dr Ghulam Nabi Bhat, Ahsan Pardesi, Sheikh Gyasudin, Showkat Mir, GN Bhat were present in the meeting.
