JAMMU, Mar 13: Police today challaned 167 persons under COPATA under the jurisdiction of City South Police.
SP City South Ajay Sharma said the challans were done by special police teams constituted for the purpose in two police sub divisions of City South.
Besides challaning the people, Sharma said awareness programmes were today conducted at different police stations of South Zone.
The SP South declared that violations under COPATA will not be tolerated by the police and the violators will continue to be challaned by the police.
