Tribute paid to influential women leaders across diverse sectors

JAMMU, Mar 13: In order to honour the exceptional contributions made by influential women in their respective fields and communities, a function was organised here today.
The function was organised by Narinder Singh Bhau and his team.
The team paid their tribute to 100 distinguished women leaders representing a spectrum of organizations including social enterprises, NGOs, societies, sarpanch, DDC members, and self-help group leaders.
The event underscored the unparalleled significance of women’s empowerment and leadership in driving positive change and progress within society.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhau said that by felicitating these prominent women from diverse sectors, we showcased their inspiring achievements and highlighted their pivotal role in shaping a more inclusive and equitable society.
“Through such initiatives, we reinforced our commitment to amplifying the voices and contributions of women leaders across various sectors. By providing a platform to showcase their accomplishments and celebrate their successes, we displayed a culture of appreciation, empowerment, and collaboration among women in leadership positions,” he said.
Among others who graced the event included Geeta Bhau, Shardha Devi, Anu Sharma, Kanta Sharma, Binna Manhas, Anju Chib, Arti Devi, Pallvi Sharma, Renu Verma and Shivani Devi.
