‘Take appropriate steps in addressing traders issues’

JAMMU, Mar 14 : Dr Satish Poonia, former Rajasthan BJP president and National Executive Member of the party, today asserted that Modi Government which settled various contentious issues during its last 10 years of rule is committed to settle the issues of displaced Kashmiri Pandits who were forced to flee from the Valley in 1989-90.
Talking to reporters at the sidelines of two party programmes here, today Dr Poonia said the Modi Government which settled Ram temple issue, annulled controversial Article 370 and 35 A and brought CAA during last ten year’s of his tenure will definitely settle the issue of displaced Kashmiri Pandits including their rehabilitation in Kashmir Valley in next term.
He said the situation has changed in Kashmir to a great extent as the BJP Government led by Narendra Modi took various public welfare steps and on the basis of that the Party is optimistic to get more than 370 seats in coming LS poll. He said besides, the popularity of PM the good work done by his Government which did not discriminate among people on basis of religion, region and caste while giving benefits of public welfare schemes like PM Awas Yojna or Har Ghar Jal (drinking water to every house hold) or distribution of cooking gas etc, he added.
The BJP leader also assured the traders and business community of Jammu that his party is fully abreast with their problems and it will take appropriate steps in redressing them.
The traders of Jammu during an interaction with Dr Poonia here this evening showed concern that the trade of Jammu has been hit with train going to Katra and Srinagar. The Jammu is becoming another Pathankot and they demanded that a robust industrial package be given to the area besides Jammu be made an independent Tourist destination.
Dr Poonia earlier in the morning held an interaction with prominent activists of Kashmiri Pandits at KP Sabha Ambphalla and later at Jagti to seek their suggestions before finalising the party’s manifesto for the upcoming Lok Sabha poll.
Later he held an interaction with the entrepreneurs of Jammu in the evening. While asserting that BJP is the world’s largest political party Dr Poonia said that people’s suggestions have always been the top priority for the party in formulating the strategies to be followed for the welfare of the nation and its people. Prominent among those present on the occasion were MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, senior BJP leader Devender Rana and Sunil Sethi, chief spokesperson, BJP J&K.
Addressing the entrepreneurs during the interaction session, the senior BJP leader stated that their suggestions will be of utmost importance so far as the shaping of party’s manifesto is concerned as it is going to have a far-reaching impact on the future governance and ultimately upon the nation and its people’s future. Dr Poonia said that the entrepreneurs can directly forward their valuable suggestions to the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi by dialling 9090902024. He asserted that this yet again reiterates the Prime Minister’s commitment to reach out to the people of this nation directly. He urged the MSME entrepreneurs to ensure that “Viksit Bharat, Modi Ki Guarantee” campaign becomes a great success.
The participating traders also gave their valuable suggestions and applauded Prime Minister, Modi for taking this laudable initiative.
