Dr Nirmal highlights welfare measures of Modi Govt for border people

JAMMU, Mar 14: Border Development Cell of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir, organized a Sammelan at Chicken Neck area of Pargwal at International Border which was presided over by Dr Nirmal Singh, former Deputy Chief Minister and in charge Jammu and Kashmir Lok Sabha Cluster.
While addressing the people, Dr. Nirmal Singh, complimented the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi led Government for addressing almost all the problems of border areas including giving 4% reservation to people living on International Border and bringing them at par with people Living on LoC, constructing community bunkers and also bunkers for each family, forcing Pakistan to stop cross border firing thereby leading to peace and progress in the border areas. Now there is no migration from the borders, he added.
Dr Nirmal Singh said the studies of the children living on the border are not disturbed. There is no loss of human lives and animals and so on and so forth. He said that the Modi Government’s pro poor schemes have reached every household and there are more than five lakh Golden card beneficiaries in Jammu and Kashmir only.
While criticizing the recent statement of Omar Abdullah on CAA, Nirmal Singh said that the former Chief Minister must desist from communalising the situation in Jammu and Kashmir which has witnessed bloodshed during last six decades. It happened due to communally motivated policies and such type of irresponsible behaviour of some politicians. He advised him not to misguide the innocent public on CAA as no body’s rights will be affected by CAA. He said that the CAA is purely based on humanitarian consideration and thus a milestone in the direction of saving the lives of persecuted people.
Jai Singh, State convenor Border Development Cell, Vikram Singh, co-Convenor, Daljeet Chib, former Vice Chairman Kissan Board, Rajeev Sharma, former MLA and district president, Manmohan Singh former district president and others also accompanied the former Deputy Chief Minister.
