JAMMU, Feb 21: A man was knocked to death by a train near Channi area of the winter capital.
As per sources, 40-year-old Ramesh Kumar, son of Tara Chand of Channi was hit by Rajdhani Express near Channi last evening.
He was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where he failed to respond to the treatment and succumbed to his injuries today.
The body was handed over to family members for last rites after completing legal formalities.
A case has been registered and investigation started.
