Nalwa urges people to vote for Dr Jitendra, terms BJP as people’s party

*Over 60 join party at Lohai Malhar

KATHUA, Mar 17: BJP Minority Morcha’s J&K president Ranjodh Singh Nalwa, who today toured remote Lohai Malhar in Kathua district, urged locals to ensure the victory of party candidate Jitendra Singh from the constituency in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls with a huge margin.
After over 60 locals, including some prominent figures of the far-flung Lohai Malhar, joined BJP in the presence of Nalwa and others, the Minority Morcha president made an appeal to people to vote for Jitendra Singh and ensure his victory in LS polls with a huge margin.
He said BJP was different from other parties and its main objective was to serve people. “While other parties’ aim is to grab power for themselves, BJP’s sole aim is to serve people and take the country to the pinnacle of development but that is possible only with the support of people,” Nalwa added.
Addressing the gathering, Nalwa said no other party, which ruled the country during the past 70 years, had done the level of development which BJP had done in a few years. Nalwa called upon the new joinees to strengthen the party at the grass-roots level and ensure the victory of Jitendra Singh with a huge margin.
Prominent among those who joined the party included retired Naib-Subedar Maroof Malik, Machedi’s ex-sarpanch Karim Din, retired Sub-Inspector Mohammad Amin Malik, Nathi’s ex-panch Talab Hussain, Parvez Ahmad, ex-panch Bashir Ahmad, ex-panch Nesa Mohammad, Rashid Malik, Javed Ahmad, ex-panch Chaggar Singh, ex-panch Rattan Chand, ex-panch Dhabu Ram Munir Ahmad and Shaniz Ahmad.
The joining programme was organised by Javed Rana. Those present on the occasion included general secretary Santokh Singh, district president Darshan Singh, spokesperson Fareed Ahmad Fani, Reasi prabhari Javed Rana, DDC Kishore Lal and social media co-incharge Gushu Thakur.
