JAMMU, Mar 17: Police claimed here today they have arrested a wanted criminal under the stringent Public Safety Act (PSA).
A police spokesperson said that 15 FIRs were registered against Vikramjeet Singh alias Vikky in different police stations of Jammu and multiple warrants were issued for his arrest.
Today, a team of Police Station Gangyal led by SHO Gangyal, Harmohinder Singh and PSI Aaquib Lateef executed the PSA warrant of the criminal and lodged him in prison, said the police spokesperson.
“His detention marks another step in improving law and order in Jammu District,” the police spokesperson further said.
