Faculty Development Programme on ‘Digital Marketing’ held

SAMBA, Mar 18: The Dogra Degree College of Education and Law in collaboration with ICT Academy inaugurated a five-day faculty development programme on ‘Digital Marketing’ here today.
The program commenced with an inaugural-cum-technical session conducted by Chief Guest Gulchain Singh Charak, Chairman of Dogra Educational Trust.
Dr Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary of Dogra Educational Trust, Gitika Sehgal, Coordinator of Dogra Educational Trust, Dr Bela Thakur, Principal of Dogra Degree College, and Dr Vikesh Sharma, Principal of Dogra College of Education were present on the occasion. Resource persons were Aditya Jha, Technical Trainer from Training and Development at ICT Academy, Adil Yousaf, Senior Technical Trainer at ICT Academy and Dr Samiksha Suri, Senior Technical Trainer at ICT Academy.
Ajaz Yousaf, Relationship Manager at ICT Academy, Jammu and Kashmir, introduced the program, highlighting its aim to equip faculty members with essential skills and knowledge for designing and implementing effective outcome-based learning strategies.
The technical session with Aditya Jha provided an overview of the upcoming sessions. He discussed how digital marketing has transformed advertising, offering businesses unprecedented opportunities to engage with their target audience. Jha elaborated on various digital marketing modules, including social media, search engines, email, and websites.
