Workshop concludes at Dogra Law College

JAMMU, Feb 22: 2-days workshop on ‘Communication Skills using NLP’ for the final year Law students concluded, here today.
Abhimanyu Dev Singh Billawaria, Director and Founder of Communication County (Pune based training institute), having international certification and exposure was the trainer. The workshop started with TNA (Training Need Analysis) to identify the gaps. TNA was based on one-on-one interview and a multiple choice questionnaire.
Students were analyzed on the basis of their communication skills to understand their competency for campus and post campus interviews of their career.
The workshop was specially designed on the basis of TNA and feed back from Training and Placement Committees of Dogra Law College.
On day-2, the workshop started with training session of “Image Projection”. Students were trained on projecting impressive personality during the first impression.
Many techniques of body language and BPHAST rule were introduced in the workshop. Kr Abhimanyu also taught how to unveil the behavior pattern of a person during conversation. Kr Abhimanyu is also certified NLP practitioner who shared his experience from corporate world to train students for corporate.
Many activities were performed during the training session like SWOT Analysis and STAR technique for interview answers.
The workshop was inaugurated by Kr. Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary, Dogra Educational Trust and was presided over by Gulchain Singh Charak, Chairman, Dogra Educational Trust, Member AICWC.
Dr Anu Mankotia presented the vote of thanks, while Naveed Anjum, Lecturer, Political Science, coordinated the workshop. Supriya Gupta, Lecturer in Law was Co-Coordinator.
