VIJAYPUR, Mar 22: Apni Party provincial president, Jammu, Manjit Singh has demanded enhancement of reservation quota to the Other Backward Classes (OBCs) of J&K to 27 per cent.
He was speaking at a meeting in Vijaypur in which OBC members of the Party were present.
During meeting, the leaders discussed the present political situation and the granting of 8 per cent reservation to OBCs in J&K and termed it injustice with the community.
Manjit Singh highlighted the contributions of OBCs including Jatts for the country and in defending its borders.
He said that reservation quota for OBCs must be enhanced up to 27 per cent in J&K as is there in other States.
