JAMMU, Mar 22: Government Railway Police (GRP) Jammu today claimed that they have arrested an absconder after 17 years.
According to police, Jaspreet Singh alias Tina of Nanak Nagar Jammu was wanted in case FIR number 16/2007 under Sections 307, 201, 34 RPC and 4/25 Arms Act registered at Police Station GRP Jammu.
“He was constantly evading his arrest in the case by changing locations frequently but today he was successfully chased and arrested,” said police, adding that post arrest, the criminal has been lodged in District Jail Jammu.
