ABVP’s JU unit organizes blood donation camp

JAMMU, Mar 22: The Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad’s (ABVP) Jammu University unit today organised a blood donation and free medical camp on Trimurti Balidan Divas.
A statement said that SP Jammu (South) Ajay Sharma was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
Akshi Billowria, ABVP J&K State Secretary, commenced the programme with the lighting of the sacred lamp while Sahil Choudhary, the JU President of the organisation, greeted the participants, emphasizing the importance of the occasion.
He (Choudhary) underscored the noble spirit of service and social responsibility embodied by such initiatives, urging students and the community to actively participate in this noble cause.
Chief Guest Ajay Sharma commended ABVP’s initiative on Trimurti Balidan Divas, highlighting the potential of youth engagement in such activities.
He urged the youth to channel their energies towards constructive endeavors and addressed the pressing issue of drug abuse, urging a shift towards a more patriotic mindset.
Additionally, around 400 immunity booster kits were distributed among students, teaching staff, and non-teaching employees.
Meanwhile, at the Central University of Jammu, the ABVP unit led by President Manoj commemorated Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev.
Stressing the importance of remembering the martyrs, ABVP unit Secretary Abhishek Chaudhary highlighted the enduring legacy of freedom fighters and urged the youth to uphold their ideals.
The event witnessed the presence of dedicated Karyakartas, including Meenakshi, Sneh, Rashu, Nandani, Simran, Shagun, Vikas, and Mahendra, symbolizing the collective commitment to honoring the sacrifices of our heroes.
