SRINAGAR, Mar 23: The J&K National Conference vice president, Omar Abdullah launched the party’s website, www.jknc.co.in at the party headquarters here today.
Among others party general secretary Ali Mohd Sagar, Provincial president Nasir Aslam Wani, chief spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq, spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar, Dr Sameer Kaul, Sajjad Shaheen and other functionaries were present on the occasion.
Appreciating the collective efforts of the SM & Media functionaries on the Website launch, Omar said, “The digital hub of the party besides adding on to the party’s online presence is also dedicated to building deeper connections with our people.”
He lauded the efforts of the functionaries asking them to utilize the platform to highlight the party’s legacy, vision and mission through publicly accessible, interlinked Web pages that share a single domain name.
On the occasion, the party leadership commended the efforts of Umesh Talashi for designing and creating the website.
Meanwhile, Omar Abdullah welcomed the noted political activist Shriya Handoo into the National Conference at the party office.
On the occasion party vice president extended a warm welcome to the new entrant, hoping that her joining will help foster bonds of unity and inclusivity.
Senior leaders Nasir Aslam Wani, Tanvir Sadiq, Mudassar Shahmiri, Nazir Ahmad Gurezi, Shameema Firdous, Sabiya Qadri, Salman Ali Sagar were also present on the occasion.
