JAMMU, Mar 24: The J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL) here today organized Dogri ‘Baal Kavi Goshthi’ for young Dogri poets.
Hosted in collaboration with Duggar Manch, Jammu, the event aimed to foster a love for poetry and literature among the youth.
This initiative was started by the Secretary JKAACL, Bharat Singh Manhas to foster a love for poetry and literature among children and it saw the participation of 25 bright young minds, each showcasing own creativity and love for Dogri language.
Dr. Parveen Yograj graced the occasion as chief guest. The event commenced with welcome address by Padamshri Mohan Singh, President of Duggar Manch.
The event showcased the remarkable poetic skills of young talents including Khyati, Dhanashree, Manyashree, Avantika, Sanbhavi, Swasti, Maithili, Aaradhya, Vaidehi, Rakshan, Shayla, Pratham, Vinayak, Sarang, Fatima, Aakashvi, Arshia, Akshita, Anshkaran, Suryapratap, Rujula, Aarushi, Malhar, Eva, and Satvya.
Certificates of participation were awarded to each young poet by the chief guest.
