JAMMU, Mar 29: Shri Amarnath Barfani Langar Organisation (SABLO) has expressed concern over delays in issuing Expression of Interest (EOI) to several Langar Organisations for the upcoming 2024 Shri Amarnathji pilgrimage.
In a letter addressed to the Additional CEO of the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB), SABLO claimed that numerous experienced langar organizations have yet to receive EOIs due to purportedly trivial reasons.
The letter emphasized the longstanding dedication of these organizations in providing selfless and philanthropic services to pilgrims over the years.
SABLO contended that while occasional minor errors may have occurred inadvertently, they should not overshadow the organizations’ unwavering commitment to serving pilgrims during the arduous journey.
Acknowledging the challenges inherent in catering to the needs of Yatra participants, SABLO urged the Shrine Board to consider the extensive contributions and experiences of established langar organizations.
They advocated for granting EOIs to these veteran groups, allowing them the opportunity to rectify any shortcomings and continue their invaluable service uninterrupted.
Furthermore, the letter underscored the urgency of the situation, noting that time is of the essence for Bhandara organizations to make necessary arrangements for the upcoming Yatra season.
SABLO appealed to the Additional CEO to prioritize the interests of longstanding Bhandara organizations and expedite the issuance of offer letters for the 2024 Shri Amarnathji Yatra, thereby ensuring the seamless continuation of essential services for pilgrims undertaking this sacred journey.
